Black Ops Configs

If you haven't heard, Call of Duty has these little .cfg files that can completely change the game as you know it. Configured games can run with 250 frames per second, less ping, less unessesary decals, and much more. Having so many tweaks gives you a substantial advantage over default players.  Remeber that these settings only work on the PC. All I can suggest for console users is raising brightness.

Proper Mouse Tuning

Logitech G9
If you're big into shooters on the PC, the mouse is your best friend. Unfortunately, using any old mouse just won't cut it anymore as they are to slow. If you bump up mouse speed in the control panel, it only makes matters worse.

Below is a guide I found on overclock.net. It explains nearly everything about mouses and their uses. It applies to CSS specifically, but the setups can be used for any game.

Black Ops True Theater Video is Up!

>
...And here it is! This video takes the theater mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops and translates the cameras to a more movie style approach. With the help of Sony Vegas of course.

Advantages of Proper Audio

Audio is probably the most overlooked feature passed by players today. Using it will give you an advantage over your opponents. Surround sound headsets are a reasonably cheap way to get you equipped. 5.1 headsets range anywhere from $50 to $300. Once you pass the $150 range, the quality per dollar diminishes dramatically, so I recommend sticking to around $60 for your first headset.

Verdict: Just Cause 2

Rico jumping from a jet
Verdict is a review column where the latest games are put to the test. There is no single, determining list of factors that can rate all games, so a general number between 0-10 will be used.

Just Cause 2 takes place on a fictional southeastern Asia island of Panau. You play as Rico Rodriguez, a hardcore gunman who aims to stop the dictator from taking the nation.

Launch Succesful

After plenty of hours of tinkering within settings, photoshooping like crazy, and organizing the tedious details, I am happy to have launched the site! I'll post the first actual article soon.
